Roll d100 Online
Percentile dice — a fair roll from 1 to 100
The d100 — also called percentile dice or d% — is the backbone of any RPG that works on percentage chances. Roll low, succeed; roll high, fail (usually). Every number from 1 to 100 has exactly a 1% chance, making it the cleanest statistical die in tabletop gaming.
Systems that use d100
- Call of Cthulhu — every skill check
- Warhammer Fantasy / 40K Roleplay — core mechanic
- Rolemaster and RuneQuest
- D&D 5e — Wild Magic Surge, random tables, magic item rarity
- Any "roll on the random encounter table" moment
How d100 is usually rolled physically
Physical d100s are actually two d10s: a "tens" die (00, 10, 20… 90) and a "ones" die (0–9), summed with 00+0 reading as 100. This generator skips the ceremony and gives you the final 1–100 result directly.

Try d10, d20, 2d6, 3d6, 4d6 drop lowest, or the full Dice Roller.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the d100 range 1–100 or 0–99?
Most modern systems use 1–100 with 00 on physical dice reading as 100. A few older systems (e.g. Basic Roleplaying variants) use 0–99 for specific tables. This tool uses 1–100.
Is rolling low or high better?
It depends on the system. Call of Cthulhu and Warhammer want you to roll under your skill. Random tables typically want a specific range. Always check what your system expects.
Can I roll multiple d100s at once?
Yes. Set the count up to 100. Each roll is independent, so duplicates are possible and expected.
