AI Prompting: Beginner to Applied Workflows

Learn how to give AI a clear task, supply the context it needs, request a useful output and judge the response. The techniques apply across general-purpose AI assistants, not just one product.

Lesson 1 is available now. The remaining Level 1 lessons will be added progressively.

What you will learn

Give AI a clear task

Turn an unstated intention into an outcome that an AI assistant can follow.

Add what matters

Use relevant context, inputs and constraints without making every prompt unnecessarily long.

Check the response

Treat fluent writing as a starting point, then verify important facts and improve the result through follow-up instructions.

How each lesson works

  1. Understand one idea in plain language.
  2. Inspect an illustrative weak prompt and decide what is missing.
  3. Follow a complete Prompt Makeover.
  4. Try an exercise, then compare your thinking with a model answer.
  5. Use a short knowledge check and keep a reusable takeaway.

A clearer prompt can improve the chance of a useful response, but it cannot guarantee accuracy or prevent AI errors. Important information still needs checking.
