Tournament bracket generator
Create a random knockout bracket, advance winners and copy the draw.
The tournament bracket generator creates a single-elimination knockout draw from any list of teams, players or entries. It is useful for classroom quiz brackets, gaming nights, office challenges, sports clubs, board game tournaments, fantasy tie-breakers and friendly competitions where you need a transparent random draw. If you need a pick order before the event starts, use the Draft Order Generator.
How to use it
- Paste each team, player or entry on a separate line.
- Keep shuffle on for a random first-round draw, or turn it off if your list is already seeded.
- Generate the bracket. Byes are added automatically when the field is not 4, 8, 16 or another power of two.
- Click a winner in each match to advance them into the next round.
- Copy or share the bracket once the draw, or the full result, is ready.
Best used for
- Classroom quiz tournaments, debate brackets and review games.
- Gaming nights, board game tournaments and esports-style friendly draws.
- Office contests, team challenges and workshop games.
- Sports clubs, football mini-tournaments and casual knockout draws.
- Fantasy matchups where you need a random bracket rather than a league table.
Fairness and privacy notes
The bracket is generated in your browser. Your list is not uploaded to a Spinnit account or database. The shuffle is suitable for everyday casual draws, but official tournaments should follow the rules and draw process set by the organiser.

Can I use seeded entries?
Yes. Turn off Shuffle first-round draw and place the entries in the order you want before generating the bracket.
Can I use this for official tournaments?
Use it for casual, classroom, club, office and friendly tournaments. For official competitions, use the organiser's approved draw method and rules.
