Wheel of Names
Add names, spin the wheel, let fate decide
The Wheel of Names lets you add any list of names or items and spin to pick one at random. Up to 60 entries can sit on the wheel at once, and you can remove individual names at any time. Perfect for classroom pick-a-student moments, prize draws, competition finals, and any group decision that deserves a bit of theatre.
How to Use
- Type names into the text area (one per line) and click Add to wheel.
- Remove individual names by clicking the × on their chip below the wheel.
- Click Spin the Wheel or tap the canvas to start the spin.
- The winner's name appears below the wheel when it stops.
- Spin again without removing names, or clear the winner to narrow the field.

Why Use Spinnit
Your name list is saved automatically in your browser between sessions — you don't need to re-enter it each time you come back. The wheel supports up to 60 names with colour-coded segments for easy reading. All data stays on your device; nothing is ever sent to a server.

Yes. Your name list is automatically saved to your browser's local storage and will still be there the next time you open the tool on the same device.
Is there a limit on how many names I can add?
The wheel supports up to 60 names. Beyond that, segments become too small to read clearly, so the list is capped at 60 for a good experience.
